Board and volunteer work includes: HR policy adviser for the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance [CATA] 1992 - present, Vice-chair of the Canadian Technology Human Resources Board 2001-2004, Board member of the Software Human Resources Council 1996-2001, fundraising director for the Western Quebec Education Foundation 1996- present, and a Cub Scout leader 1996 2006.
My first best-seller was: "Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters" [John Wiley & Sons 2005] My first book was "Career Guide for the High-Tech Professional: Where the Jobs are NOW and How to Land them" [Career Press 2004]
I graduated from McGill University in 1982 with a BA in Economics and Industrial Relations. As a Commissioned Officer, I Graduated 1st in my class and was awarded the Sword of Honor. In 1999, I was fortunate enough to be recognized as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” Entrepreneurs in Ottawa.
I live in Ottawa, CANADA with my wife and business partner Anita Martel and four precocious children. I recruit globally.
